Our Approach

Our primary objective is to do good work with good people that are as passionate about positive change as we are. That's a hard thing to quantify, but this is our take on it.

Who we work with

As with all relationships, we can't be the perfect partner for everyone. We work with people who want to do things to make a positive impact on our lives and the world in which we occupy – disruptors, educators, innovators and those with a social conscience – because change can bring progress. So, if you are doing good, kind to the environment, teaching, educating or changing the way we think, charitable, increasing access to culture, promoting good health and well-being or giving a voice to those that often find it hard to be heard, we'd love to see if we can help you with that.

If you don't think you fall in one of the sectors below, but believe what you are doing aligns with our values and want to find a way to work together, please get in touch as we are always happy to learn about good people.

Arts & Culture

There are no two ways about it, the Arts & Culture sector has a profound impact on our social and economic wellbeing, perfectly summarised in this neat little infographic from Arts Council England. If you are involved in this sector, take a bow, then come say hi.

Charities, Non-profits & Social Enterprises

Without these guys, so many worthy causes would slip under the radar and not get the help and recognition they need to make a difference to so many people's lives. We salute you.

We are big fans of those who dare to swim against the tide of the mainstream. We see this most in independents, entrepreneurs and idealists. Those who believe what already exists can be done better and fairer for the producer and the consumer, or even those creating an entirely new approach to their set of beliefs. Stick it to the man.

Education takes many forms. It's not just something we do when we are children. It's not just for traditional academic institutions. We want to enable those that want to teach as much as those who want to learn, whatever their age or their choice of classroom. Knowledge is power.

Our required duty of care to the World that we occupy will never subside. There is so much work that needs to be done here that we feel very strongly about playing our part. Not only do we seek to work with environmentally focused organisations and individuals, we also strive to offer you environmentally friendly design solutions.

Equal Opportunities

We are firm believers that your sex, race, or age should not been a defining factor in your right to live a life free from discrimination. To those standing up when others are trying to push you back down, we're proud of you.

Health & Wellbeing

Exercise, nutrition and good mental health. Hard to achieve in the current world. If you are looking to offer services, training, advice, or support in these areas then we'll gladly assist.

Innovation & Technology

The ever-changing landscape of modern technology is difficult to keep track of. Some of you clever folk out there are making some amazing changes with both existing and new technology. Geeks for good, we are with you.

Our chosen charity

Each year we have pledged to donate a portion of our profits to a charity of our choice. This year we have donated 10% of our (first year) profits to The Trussell Trust, who support a nationwide network of food banks and help to provide emergency food and support to people locked in poverty. It's a fantastic cause doing great work and we look forward to continuing our support throughout the year.

Making greener choices

We have taken proactive measures to reduce and offset our carbon footprint. One way we do this by investing in Offset Earth, who in turn invest into projects that remove more greenhouse gasses than our own carbon footprint puts in. If you want to read more about this, or feel inclined to do the same, you can take a look at the great work they do here.

The founders

We are run by two people who believe in the power of good ethics, good design and strong relationships. In fact they feel so passionately about strong relationships that they married each other. Yes… John and Kate are married. To each other.

John – Creative Lead

John has over 15 years experience working in the design industry. Over the years he has been lucky enough to exercise his creativity with a huge variety of clients, big and small, including the likes of The Commonwealth Foundation, Sony Music, The British Library and the 2012 London Olympics.

Kate – Strategic Lead

Kate holds a wealth of experience in senior marketing and strategic roles and has spent many years client side for the likes of Associated British Foods, The BBC, and Britvic (Robinson’s). Not only is Kate’s strategic knowledge vast, so is her empathy for the agency-client relationship, having been ‘the client’ for so many years.
